Dear Mr Dave Haycock,
Thank you soooooo much for coming to Ngamuwahine camp this year. It was such a blast. It was funny when I put a cricket down your back after the first one because you didn’t know you had it in your shirt at all.

My favourite part of camp was probably paint ball. It was so funny when I hit Craig, Russell, and Daniels dad in the butt. PAINT BALL ROCKS!!!

My proudest moment was when I climbed to the top of the vertical playpen. I got a bit of muscle after that. It was really hard to get up the top because you had to use all your energy just to get past the first tier.

Sleeping out in the bush the first night was exciting. At first my group couldn’t find a spot to build a bivouac because everyone else had taken the good spots but finally we found the perfect spot. It was about five metres away from the teachers tent and about thirty from the camp fire pit. It was a bit of a hike to get back to the bivouac after the marshmallows but it was great fun. Apparently there was a pig sniffing about beside Olivia McOnie’s tent but no one believes them. It was funny watching the girls go back to camp with their enormous BIG BLAK SAKS! I love the bush. ♥

The thing that topped it all, (this may sound weird) was the tree that fell on the car. It was a scary experience but a good one. I was shaken, but I didn’t scream. Tehe! It was stuck. It was scary at the time but when you think back it was really wicked. Thank you soo much again.

Sincerely yours,

Jordan Ross

Dear Mr Craig Fitzpatrick,
Thank you soooooo much for coming to Ngamuwahine camp this year. It was such a blast. Thank you for taking up your time to make sure us kids are safe. You pounded me in paint ball.

My favourite part of camp was probably paint ball. It was so funny when I hit Russell and Daniels dad in the butt. PAINT BALL ROCKS!!! Haha it was so funny when I shot you in the butt (I think) and you shot me in the fingers. It really hurt!

When the girls went out into the bush the first night, my group couldn’t pick a spot. Eventually we found an awesome spot five metres away from the parents tent but about thirty metres away from the camp fire pit. I love the bush. Apparently their was a pig outside Olivia McOnie’s tent but I don’t think there was.

My proudest moment was when I climbed to the top of the vertical playpen. I got a bit of muscle after that. It was really hard to get up the top because you had to use all your energy to get past the first tier.

The thing that topped it all, (this may sound weird) was the tree that fell on the car. It was a scary experience but a good one. I was shaken, but I didn’t scream. Tehe! It was stuck. It was scary at the time but when you think back it was really wicked. Thank you soo much again.

Dear Mummy,
Thank you for taking your time off your precious work to take care of 3/4 of our group. You really helped use with the navigating. Mitchell is sorry for breaking the car. I liked my group. On the first day of the amazing race when we came late, we finished at about 24th place. The second day again I was last to come to school again, we finished 16th and the last day with you we came 13th. I’m not sure how we came 13th because we were coming 11th and then Taylors group came after us at the library. They must have cheated.

The best activity I did was the diving. (Can we go diving in Thailand when we go. PLEASE!) It was so fun when I jumped off the 2 meter high plat form. I was confused when we had to write under water because I was concentrating on writing that I forgot to breath. I can’t remember going diving when I was 6. The activity that mad us loose heaps speed on was the Red Woods Orienteering. It was hard to find some of the little card thingy’s cause some of them were buried under the leaves.

Our team didn’t really work well together that well. Chontelle was a bit bossy, Mitchell didn’t really take part in anything, Marshall was always to energetic and I was a bit lazy. Altogether we could find something but we really couldn’t get there in a group.

Yours Sincerily,

Jordan Ross

Dear Tauranga Art Gallery
Thank you so much for accepting to take such alot of Tauranga Intermediate kids come to see the amazing Lynley Dodd exhibition. It was very educational. It was very nice of you to accept us as you also had other schools. It was a very education. I certainly did not know alot about Lynley Dodd.

Some other things that we did that day was go to the sulfa point marina to find some photos of some boats. Then we went to Sanford seafood place and fillet our own fish to eat for lunch. Next we went to Earth 2 Ocean. It is a place where you can learn to dive in a pool. I did that part it was awesome. Then we went to the Fish ‘n’ Chip shop and had to batter our fish that we filleted. We had fish and chips for lunch and had to eat them before the first round. We then had to got to the library and find a Lynley Dodd book and tell the librarian what we read and had to answer a quest then run to the Tauranga Art gallery. We drove to the Elms to find some answers about the garden and we rang the bell to finish.

Thank you again for your time and effort.

Yours Sincerely
